How much does a smog check cost?
It’s $15 off for most cars and 2000-and-up vans, SUVs and light trucks, or $10 off for 1999-and-older vehicles. The $8.25 state certificate is added only when your vehicle passes.
Do I need an appointment?
No — walk-ins are welcome, and appointments are available if you’d rather schedule. See the header or footer for our current hours.
What is a test-only station?
A station licensed to inspect and certify but not repair — so there’s no upsell. Gross polluters can also be certified here.
Do you test diesels and hybrids?
Yes — we test diesels and hybrids alongside cars, vans, SUVs and light trucks.
How long does it take?
Most smog checks take just a few minutes. You’re welcome to wait.
What should I bring?
Your DMV renewal notice if you have one, and your vehicle. That’s it.
What happens if my vehicle fails?
We’ll explain why and what to do next. You have it repaired anywhere you like, then bring it back for the retest.
